I'm a self-starter with a passion for building and collaborating across disciplines. I thrive in cross-functional roles where I can connect the dots between users, engineering, and business strategy to drive impactful outcomes. Whether it's launching new initiatives, streamlining processes, or solving complex problems, I enjoy taking ownership and working collaboratively to bring ideas to life. I'm energized by fast-paced environments, continuous learning, and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to a team.
I found myself navigating a field that was exciting, but difficult to break into. I realized that while interest in PM was growing on campus, resources and guidance were limited. I constantly ran into the same challenges: No clear roadmap for how to prepare, little visibility into real-world PM expectations, and few chances to connect with mentors or recruiters. I created Product Launch to change that, a place where any student, from any background, could explore PM through community, events, and hands-on experiences.
When I was touring universities as a prospective student, I remember how disorienting it felt to walk through campus after campus without seeing many people who looked like me. That lack of representation stuck with me. I wanted to be the familiar face I never had, which led me to become a campus ambassador. Since then, I've led over 100 tours and panels, adapting my message to connect with diverse audiences. I've trained 30 new ambassadors and was featured in university campaigns viewed by 1,000+ students, always aiming to create a more inclusive and welcoming experience.
During my time in AKPsi, I wanted to create more tangible opportunities for students to grow professionally. I led the planning and execution of our first-ever career fair. We brought together over 15 companies and welcomed 200+ student attendees, creating new pipelines for internships and mentorship. I also facilitated a professional development bootcamp for 30 students, helping them build confidence in their business skills through resume workshops, pitch practice, mock interviews, and more. It was all about turning preparation into opportunity and making professional growth more accessible for everyone in our chapter.
Served as a Teacher's Assistant for Math 11, 12, 30, and 31, hosting weekly office hours to help students with homework assignments and prepare for tests and quizzes. Provided personalized academic support and guidance to enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
As Community Outreach & Historian for Intandesh, South Asian Culture Club, I hosted impactful events raising awareness about stereotypes and violence, creating safe spaces for students to share their stories and experiences. I managed the club's Instagram presence and newsletters, amplifying our mission to promote cultural understanding and build inclusive communities on campus.
